How do you build trust in this digital age? Here are three points on how to build trust and become a trusted advisor.
1. A GREAT first impression.
Focus on having a great first impression everywhere. And when I say everywhere, I mean on your website and on all the social media channels that you can think of. If you’re a company, you should have company profiles and also personal profiles. So think Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram and so on.
2. Tell Stories
Number two is to tell real stories. People connect with stories because they are human. So, a few examples or a few ideas that you can do is you can tell the stories of your employees, so on an individual level, and also case study stories. So, stories of your clients.
And number three is to educate. You can educate through content, content such as written articles and also content videos like the video above. And when you do create content like this or assets for your business, you have to try and distribute it everywhere you can think of. Start off with your website and then go through all your social media channels. You want as many people as possible to see this content.
