How do you script your videos?
We script key questions based on what we learned in the Story Development Session. These are designed to elicit authentic answers from the participants. But we never prepare answers for the interviewees. Instead, we give them the space to express themselves and allow them to respond naturally to the questions.
How long does the storyboarding process take?
While storyboarding is common in mainstream film production, it’s not part of our process. Why? Because we’ve developed a system that is better suited to the business and corporate videos we specialize in. Most of the magic happens in our Story Development Session. It gives us a clear idea of the visuals that will help us tell your story.
Do I need to hire actors?
No, you don’t need to find or hire any actors. We can call on professional actors as needed, but we prefer not to rely too heavy on them. Our goal is to tell your story and build trust in your company, and the best way to do that is by featuring your staff.

Where are you located?
We are located in Australia’s Gold Coast, but we go wherever we’re needed. We have clients across the globe, from New Zealand and the United States to Singapore, Vietnam, and South Africa.
How do you choose the music for your videos?
Not every song can be used without paying for royalties. To keep your costs reasonable, we have amassed a library of songs that we can legally use in your video. We will select those that best accompany the visuals, but we can also work closely with you to personalize the musical selections.
How long have you been in business?
We (Corne and Andre Lategan) founded Bizvideo in 2010 to help businesses promote their products and tell their stories.
How many videos have you created?
Over the past eight years, we have worked with hundreds of businesses and produced more than one thousand videos for them. With this extensive experience, we know how to make an effective video that creates a lasting impression in your audience.
What if I need a voice-over?
We will gladly handle all your voice-over needs. We regularly work with talented voice actors who are skilled at bringing words to life in an engaging and powerful way.
How involved will I need to be in the production?
Only as much as you’d like to be. The Story Development Session is your opportunity to have direct involvement in shaping the video. We will also keep you updated about our progress while creating the video you envisioned. If you prefer a more hands-off approach, that’s great, too. You can focus on your own work while we take care of everything.
What if I want changes after the video’s been produced?
We will make any necessary changes at no extra cost. But since we involve our clients in the conceptual and planning process, we almost never get any requests for modifications. In 98% of cases, our clients love the first version of the video so much that it’s the one they go with.

Can we get an edit to feature on social media?
Our goal is to help you engage your audience. But every platform is different: what works on YouTube or your landing page might not be ideal for Facebook or LinkedIn. At your request, we will provide you with a version of your video that is designed to play well on social media.
How big are your camera set ups?
They’re smaller than you might expect, but it’s not because we’re cheap. We focus on telling your story, and we’ve found that the best way to do that is to keep things simple.
How long do your shoots take?
It varies because every client’s needs are different. But most of our videos are shot over the course of a single day session and others over a couple of days.
Do you charge extra for revision?
We have a very streamlined and efficient process that almost always delivers exactly what our clients need. On those rare occasions when the video needs a little extra work, we’re happy to do it free of charge.
How much does will this cost?
When you reach out to us, we’ll ask you a few questions and gauge your business needs. Using that information, we’ll put together custom packages for you to choose from.
How long does it take to complete an entire project?
It depends on a number of factors (available filming dates, travel needs, etc.), but our average completion time is 4 to 6 weeks with Overview and Case Studies. Other content can be turned around in the same week.
Where is your head office?
We’re located in Australia’s Gold Coast, but we go wherever we’re needed. We have traveled throughout the country and internationally to film our clients’ videos.
How do I know my video will be the same quality as the others you’ve made?
We’ll never hand you a video until it’s something your team and ours can be proud of. We strive for quality above all, and every video is evaluated by our creative director to ensure that it meets our exacting standards.
Will filming a Business Video disrupt our everyday business activities?
Because we don’t use a giant film crew, it will almost feel like we’re not even there. We want every video we make to look and feel natural, so we won’t get in the way of your company’s daily activities.

Then, using our easy template and our storytelling abilities, we’ll create a script based on your industry knowledge.
Will we need an extra day to film a Content Video?
It all depends on how much content you need us to produce. But we know your time is precious and we’ll never waste it – if your content can be filmed in a single day, that’s what we’ll do.

If you or one of your team members wants to present the content in the video, there will naturally be a bit more involvement. If you have limited availability or would rather not be featured for any other reason, we can use a professional actor to deliver the content.
What if I need to change something in the video after its done?
Businesses change constantly and so do their content needs. At no additional cost, we’ll make any changes you require as your company grows or adopts a new business model.
